I’m honored to have work included in the 2026 Juried Art Competition at the South Arkansas Arts Center in El Dorado, Arkansas.
This biennial exhibition brings together artists from across the country, with work selected by nationally recognized artist and curator Teresa Booth Brown. The show features 48 artists representing Arkansas and eleven other states, creating a broad collection of contemporary artwork and a wide range of artistic approaches.

Juried exhibitions are always exciting because every piece has been carefully considered through a single curator’s perspective. At the same time, they provide an opportunity to see your own work in conversation with artists working in different styles, mediums, and ideas. I always enjoy spending time with the exhibition and seeing the connections that naturally emerge once everything is installed together.

I’m especially grateful to have my work included alongside so many talented artists from Arkansas and beyond. It’s encouraging to continue sharing the Chrees with new audiences while meeting fellow artists and supporters of the arts from around the region.
The exhibition remains on view through June 27, with an awards reception held at the South Arkansas Arts Center in El Dorado. Whether you’re visiting to support a particular artist or simply to experience a diverse collection of contemporary work, it’s well worth the trip.
